Little Bear, Thank you for sharing your passion & empathy with us in the form of your DVD. The subjects are sensitive & move the very core of who we are as people of this great country of ours. You are quite right, the subjects are sensitive, watching them uncovers our deepest feelings of pride, disgust, and sorrow for what was done to us, as well as what we've done to others. We hope in the future will help us become more conscious of the consequences of our actions. Perhaps with a greater effort to become more aware of the world around us, it will also help us to understand and think of others. An understanding of the people around the world, prompted by a thirst to comprehend the reasoning of why they think and feel the way they do, will bring an end to war and closer to a peaceful future.
Our emotions bleed over what has happened to our Native American Indians & their rich culture. The damage that has been done and loss of lives cannot be overlooked as we move forward in time. We hope and trust the past will never be repealed, and we come to value what we once had as a nation.
"We remember the picture of Chief "Iron Eyes" Cody with a tear running down his cheek. " God" help us all appreciate what we have, recognize what we had, & learn the impact of the difference.
